#ISBFXI - The Chilled Sessions

There is a rather touching sense of loyalty with guests (never “customers”) at ISBF. So much so, most are almost regarded as #ISBFFamily.

These are the people who’ve been with us since St Sebastian’s. And those who’ve stayed with us since the “Vader” days of the first event at Hemsley House (#ISBF5).

What this loyalty and love ensures is that some of the sessions sell out. Quickly.

Saturday Lunch Session. Friday Evening Session. Friday Lunch Session.

All gone.

There is a commonly used phrase for such phenomena : “If You Snooze, You Lose”. But that doesn’t apply here.

The 2 remaining Sessions have a charm all of their own.

Thursday is relaxed. Just first dibs at the most wonderful beer list (that weekend) in the UK (65 Keg, 25 Cask inc 12 Collabs! Almost ALL “First Pour” in the Manchester Area), poured by the friendliest people (That’s the #ISBFFamily for you), tunes from Jo & Mike (with the Rebellious Jukebox) and conversation with friends – including some you won’t have met yet.

The very essence of the event.

ISBF is kind of different in that way.

(And tickets are now in the “Low Availability” zone)

Saturday Evening is our favourite session.

THE most chilled of all the sessions.

We’ve again got the most wonderful beer list. Jo & Mike again with their – magnificent - request based playlist.

We’ve also got the hugely talented George Fell with his angelic guitar playing (if you’re coming on Friday or Saturday Evening – and love music – get in the “Green Room” and treat your ears!)

And again, the friendliest bunch of people pouring your beers and ciders.

And even WE get to relax a little! (I might even have a beer myself....)
